In a word, dvipdfmx does not read the Chinese TrueType font
information from dvipdfm_dl14.map at all. The correction of the
updmap-sys behavior is still in need.
I don't think so, since no engine other than pdftex support embedding
TrueType fonts with .enc in this syntax, you simply should *NOT* use
updmap to enable this map, add
\pdfmapfile{bkaiu.map}
to your pdftexconfig.tex and regenerate the pdftex, pdflatex format or
simply add this line into your TeX document will be OK.
