what i didn't understand, because i have the cjk-packages installed as
the synaptic-package-manager in ubuntu tells me.
so i changed it to:
\begin{CJK}{UTF8}{秦始皇}\end{CJK}

the chinese signs are in the middle one(gehfort) which is on line 14.
the error i get now is:

and the dvi fiel shows simply nothing where the name of the emperor
should be,
"ratlos", reinhard
