This is a bit of a pain... I recently upgraded from MikTex 2.5 to 2.7 (and
thus changed the entire directory structure from c:\texmf and \localtexmf to
C:\Program Files\...), and I'm honestly not sure how to get CJK working
again. I've tried a few different things, and I'm currently getting the
error message:

- - - -
Now handling font encoding C00 ...
... no UTF-8 mapping file for font encoding C00 (not for all, but for some.
e.g. 05, 09, 10, 40, 43, etc).

I wasn't able to read the size data for this font,
so I will ignore the font specification.
[Wizards can fix TFM files using TFtoPL/PLtoTF.]
You might try inserting a different font spec;
e.g., type `I\font<same font id>=<substitute font name>'.

The file has a basic structure of this:

\documentclass[10pt,a4paper]{book}
\usepackage{CJKutf8}
\begin{document}
\begin{CJK}{UTF8}{cyberb    }
\chapter{第一回 甄士隐梦幻识通灵 贾雨村风尘怀闺秀}
此开卷第一回也。 . . .
. . . 不知有何祸事。
\newpage
\end{CJK}
\end{document}

Can anyone give me a hand getting this set up? I've got no idea what the
hell I've done wrong. I've tried some instructions found on the net, but
they're typically not for MikTex, and I don't think they're for the latest
version... Why does it not work out of the box? I'm just curious here...
