Interesting.  Perhaps we should all agree upon the configuration of these
fonts, so the Ukai and Uming fonts are the same on every distribution.

I package CJK and some fonts (Arphic, Wadalab and soon some modified Korean
fonts from HLaTeX), and have been pondering to switch from Arphic to Arne
Götje's TTF.

No idea why embedded TTF are smaller than Type1 fonts.

I use SCIM on Gnome, and the IME in Emacs.

My favourite modules are Smart PinYin and CangJie.  CangJie has a steep
learning curve, but I'm feeling that I can type most characters after a bit
of searching.  And it's much more fun than PinYin.  Heheh.
