I am not trying to make it hard. Over in the thread of exchanges, both of you had implied that many of the problems currently thailatex has will go away when it is included to TexLive as standard. But then problem is, for that to happen, either of these needs to happen: - either the core developers make the effort of adapting thailatex to what Texlive's building and packaging demands - a 3rd party who is knowledgeable enough about texlive and interested enough in thailatex to make it happen I can't speak for others. libreoffice/openoffice is too hard to get into, but XeTeX is far easier to start using than Thailatex - and it already has the advantage of being in TeXLive (and so is CJK's Thai support). So from a 3rd-party's point-of-view, it is probably wiser to improve on XeTeX's where it does not do so well, than to spend time even looking to see if Thailatex does anything interesting enough as an alternative. _______________________________________________ Cjk maillist - Cjk@ffii.org https://lists.ffii.org/mailman/listinfo/cjk
