This is a terrific deal for us personally, and it will help all Cavaliers
thru the study. They aren't sure if there's a connection between MVD and
thrombocytopenia. That's what this study is trying to determine.
Besides the cardiology exam by Dr. Rebecca Gompf, they also do extensive
blood work which would normally run around $300. Dr. Sara Cowan is
conducting the study. The information I had said to call and ask to leave a
message for her. Then she or Jimmy, the technician, would call back to set
up the appt. The appointment doesn't take long--less than an hour.
