There has been at least one Cavalier so far this year for sale in a pet shop in the
mall in Bangor, Maine, about an hour inland from where I live. My husband and I were
shopping a couple of months ago and as we passed by he drew my attention to the
bulletin board at the mouth of the pet store, covered with photos from recent
purchases. A homely little Blenheim face was looking back at us. The clerk couldn't
give us any information as she was new and knew nothing about the dog--he'd been sold
before she began working there. I went home with a very heavy heart. If Cavaliers have
made it to the mall in Maine, one might expect to see them anywhere.
