Hi everyone
I am fairly new to the group, but have been on the Hoflin list for a while. I
live in
Waldport, OR with my husband, two Blenheim 2 year old loves, Bonnie (Rossbonny
Silk) and Edward (Rossbonny The Duke), a PMS tortie cat, and a lovebird. Edward
and Bonnie are not related. I just had to comment on the pickup truck article,
which
I either sent to friends or copied, as suggested.
I used to work for a vet, and at least once a month, a client (or animal
control)would
carry in a dog that had jumped or fallen out of a truck. After many hours of
vetting,
loving, and $ spent, the owners would return, take the dog, and put it in the
back of
the pickup truck!!!I beleive these are the same type people who use barbed wire
on
their horse fencing!!
Now that I am in big trouble, have stepped on various toes, I will close. By
the way,
the state of CA will ticket those dogs not tied down, which, sometimes, is
worse,if
a harness is not used. Ever see a dog hang himself this way? It is not a pretty
site.
