Dear Glen,

A simple way to learn is to go to as many dog shows as you can. Observe, make notes do
not be intrusive and learn quietly from the successful exhibitors. This includes other
breeds by the way.
Grooming can be trial and error, what works for someone elses dog may not work for
yours.Buy small or sample sizes of differing products and use them on your dog 'til
you find one that works Do not expect people to give away all their 'tricks of the
trade' after all they have spent many years, in some cases, finding out what works and
what doesn't.
In the world of showing and breeding dogs there are no quick fixes although you can be
a quick learner!!.
