Veterinary Handbook

Hi Dave,
I highly recommend DOG OWNER'S HOME VETERINARY HANDBOOK by Delbert G
Carlson, D.V.M. and James M. Giffen M.D.>>>>>>>>>>>
I have had a copy of this book for many years and found it invaluable for
most things. Only the other day I needed to take a bitch's temperature and
had forgotten what the norm is in my panic. (After whelping, the bitch
showed signs of infection) The only trouble was, the temperature used in the
book was in Farenheit and my thermometer is in Celcius. (We use Celsius
here)Just as well I am married to a maths whizz<VBG>
The book is an excellent reference - usually!
