Thank you to the "one" person who responded to me regarding further advice on
helping me to learn about the breed. Also, thank you Annette for letting me know
that the magazine comes with the membership to the UK club. Not that I want to
add to your sleepless nights LOL but for love of the breed you will soon find
me a member too <G>
Allow me to re-cap my last post...I'm in Goldens (conformation, agility,
obedience), been lurking on the list for months, don't have a Cavalier (yet),
got books and magazines on them though...would like more, have written to well
known knowledgable breeders hoping to learn and talk Cavaliers with, both in US
and UK, no luck. I must say I was surprised since I clearly stated I was not
looking for a puppy but I was looking to learn about the breed.
I would like to know how some of the listers here went about on finding their
mentor(s) in the breed? This seems much easier said than done. I would like to
know what some of the listers have found to be the most informative of the
available CKCS books or publications including magazines, annuals, yearbooks
etc.
