Others I would recommend are E.M.Booth's All about the Cavalier King Charles
Spaniel
Sheila Smith's Cavalier King Charles spaniel Today
or John Evans' Cavalier King Charles Spaniels - he has done a video on
grooming
The latter three are of course English breeders ( E.M. Booth is deceased but
the other two are still active in the breed)
You should be able to get them via Amazon or else via the Club website

As for mentoring - this in really not a term that we use over here however I
would imagine that anyone selling a puppy be it as a pet or show prospect
would give advice to the purchaser
