My son works in mid-town Manhatten, 50th St. (not downtown, thank God).
I can't describe the feeling of watching on tv as one explosion went off
after another, just hoping and praying that there would be no more
attacks on other parts of NYC.
His wife did get through to him around 10:30 am, he was ok but unable to
get anywhere, no movement in or out of the city. Haven't heard since,
but think all is all right with him. Telephone circuits are jammed, not
many calls can get through.
The attacks stopped. I hope NEVER to have to go through anything like
that again.
