Hi Norma
You make a very good point. An award of merit is considered a unofficial
award and given out at the judges discretion and even not given out if the
judge so chooses.I think you are absolutely right , the reserve winners in
this case should be brought back into the ring. ...What drives me crazy is
that we never get to see a critique on the awards of merit , when in some
cases are what the judge considers the next best thing in the ring.
