Susan...I saw this somewhere with pictures and the dog looked like a blonde
lab. The man said he unleashed his dog in hopes the dog could escape because
he did not have much hope of escaping. He told the dog to GO! so it could
maybe get out.
So he said the dog obeyed him, and there was a real crush of people and he
was helpless, and all of a sudden he felt his dog's nose on the back of his
knee. He said he could not believe it...and right then he knew that his dog
loved him as much as he loved the dog.
The dog led him down the stairwell, and someone (I forget if it was a friend
or a stranger, maybe an angel) in the crush of people said to take his arm,
and they went down all those stairs, and his dog did not leave his side.
It's amazing the stories that are coming out of this tragedy.
Did you happen to see Larry King last night? It was another tear wrenching
event with the wife of the young man who took charge and organized the
passengers to fight the hijackers. If you are interested in reading the
