Hi,
I think that I got the nimda virus from the cavalier list, either this one
or the hoflin one, on September 3rd. I've cleaned up my computer and
downloaded the patch from Microsoft, but I wanted to notify listmembers. If
I got it from the list, then every who didn't have the patch got it as well.
It can shut down your computer after a while of messing things up.
I guess this is dog related since my files showed that the virus came in
through a list email. All list members should check for the virus by doing a
"find file" for readme.exe or *.eml. If you have any files that match these,
you've got the virus.
