Kim, it's been an odd experience. I know that I found the files and the file
that was listed as the culprit was one from a Cavalier list that was created
9/13/01. My son-in-law said that this virus could get on PCs such as mine,
either from an email or from an infected website. It may not be the exact
worm that is named nimda, but it appeared that way to me from what it did
(programs were starting to crash and I was getting the blue screen and the
file names were on my hard drive although it wasn't in the registry yet) and
from what I read at the microsoft website. However, I am not an expert on
viruses. I decided that it was better to warn others than to sit back and do
nothing since it appears to have been from an email from one of the cavalier
lists.
