Hello everyone, this is Steve Wallis from Raleigh, NC, USA. My wife Dee and
I have three tricolor Cavaliers and have shown and bred Labradors since 1982.
Our first acquaintance with Cavs came at a Labrador specialty show in Ohio
when we saw a little puppy owned by Sally Bell. We acquired our first
Cavalier in 1994 from a local animal shelter. I remember sitting on the
floor in the pound with John Evan's book turned to the standard trying to
determine if this dog was truly pure bred. A spayed female she looked to be
6 to 10 years old at the time. We named her "Felicity" a name taken from one
of the pedigrees in Evans' book. She is still strong in mind if not in
heart. We love her dearly. Last year we acquired two tri puppy bitches
which we have begun to show (one has both majors at present). One of our new
girls is currently training in obedience and in agility. Hope to have her
out competing in the spring.
