Your dogs are much more astute than ours, watching the size of the
toilet paper is truly amazing behaviour IMHO. My dogs never even
suspect that a "roll" might be available until I actually throw it onto
the floor. But when the roll hits the floor all of them show up ready
to compete for it.
Maybe one of the things that gets them going about these cardboard rolls
is the clompity clompity sound that they make when they bounce end to
end on the floor. Whatever it is our dogs are absolutely nuts about
these toilet paper rolls the minute they fall onto the floor.
