        I am aware of this. I just find it fairly unkind to hear such things
from anyone. A novice comes here to learn and introduces themselves and
mentions that they have an interest in something.  A learned and
knowledgeable person wants to know what that has to do with Cavaliers?
That is fairly confrontational is it not?

Some kind folks answer politely that there is some connection here and
there. The discussion takes itself away and then people are unhappy with
hearing about it.

        I don't blame them.  So am I.  When someone introduces themselves or
mentions another interest I try to learn about it or, as Jo Ann says,
use the delete key.
