Dear List -
Suze makes a good point. A confrontational tone creeps onto this
list every so often and I am guilty of it myself on occasion. I think we
all need to be careful not to use this list to vent our frustrations (it's
called "displacement" in psychiatric jargon)
As for whether or not horses (or cats or birds) are relevant, I
think they are if only because those people know about competing in an
arena where all may not be fair, where some judges are less knowledgeable
than others, where losing doesn't mean you are a failure, etc.
