Norman and Ellen, Thanks for the puppy computer humor. I can relate as I am getting
nothing done since having the new puppy for a week. She is a puppy of my original
breed of 16 years the Australian Shepherd. She is out of a bitch I have loved for
years and am honored to have one of her puppies. While she is a little dear and to
make this Cavalier related-my Cavalier is less than thrilled! He would love to play,
but a rambunctious larger breed puppy is more than he can take. While she tries to
play tug with his lovely mane he is growling his heart out which seems to only add to
her excitement. One growl from the Aussies and she understands. The little growls have
no effect.

We are VERY careful to monitor the activity between the two. Very unfair to the
Cavalier to be tortured by a big clumsy puppy, though they will curl up together. I
would love any additional tips from listers with large breed puppies and Cavaliers.

Sincerely
Jan Rinker
