Hi Jan, I have had the same situation with my new Dobe puppy - 5 years since my last old one died and now a tornado has hit the house! She came at 8 weeks still small enough to be rolled over and stood over by the Cavaliers if she got out of hand so she learned a few manners. But now 5 months, huge and VERY active! VBG I supervise her play with the Cav and don't let her with the pups under 6 months as she is so sweet and wants to play with them but doesn't realise just how powerful she is. I am praying for the day she grows up! VBG The first 9 months is usually the worst with Dobes - after that they seem to grow a brain. Jeanie
