I have been following this thread on learning from watching other species...especially
horses. It is interesting to me that we have to make anyone approach wrong that is
not our own...why can't we honor it is as another approach to learning about CKCS for
that individual. It may not work for us...and that is okay.

I instruct students to find a way so that their brain's synapses can "gather" the
knowledge and than do an analysis and synthesis of those materials. It has to be
individualized to their brain function. Studies have demonstrated that we learn by:

10% of what we read
20% of what we hear
30% of what we see
70% of what we see and hear
90% of what we see, hear, and do

If a person can relate to other species,"by trial and error", engineering principles,
and/or by geometric imaging...it is valid for them. Some people are very successful
in other breeds yet are not successful in CKCS...due to the noted complexity of this
breed and variation of bloodlines. All individuals need to be open to learning...and
discussion for the betterment of the breed. When we discount the one...we discount the
whole...

Just food for thought...
