Hi Steve and all, Thanks to everyone that answered my query about dryers. Steve, I think I agree with you. I'm going to get the Metro Commander for at home use and get a new Superduck for finishing the ears and for travel to the shows. My Superduck was still looks good (no tape VBG) but for some reason the motor overheated/burned out and now the test and reset buttons won't respond. The 'on' switch had been temperamental the last few times I used it, so I'm probably very lucky that the reset button was working and stopped the dryer before it caught on fire.
