Hi,

My dog, KC, 3 yrs, was just diagnosed with osteoporosis (sp???). One lister
suggested that I used the g/c, which I did. Also, my vet gave KC some
kennel Ibuprofene after a serie of injections did not improve his
condition.

I guess the combinationof the Ibuprofene, the threat of Rimadyl for the
rest of his life and the g/c did the job: he walks better. I give him 500
mg of g/c in the morning and another 500 g at night. My question is : Am I
giving too much?

He has also lost 3 pounds and is loosing more, the result of a diet. He now
weighs 22 pounds. We are aiming 18 pounds. Is loosing a pound a month too
much for a dog?

Thank you!

Lucie
