Barbara,

I think it depends on the person, just like in dogs.  I have arthritis also
and tried g/c for several months.  I didn't feel it helped at all and was
having a difficult time even driving the car.  I started taking Celebrex
(prescription for humans, not dogs), and it has helped tremendously.  I think
all of this just varies greatly from individual (human and dog) to
individual.
