Hi Jan, Yes, the Super Duck has temperature controls. I usually use the warm setting as high can get pretty warm when you are using the stand and not moving the dryer around. I really like the hands free capability I have with the Super Duck so that I can be brushing at the same time. For the price, I don't think that it can be beat!
