Dogs don't have to chew...at all. Only people and ruminants have to chew. It is
quite natural for a dog not to chew at all.
Perhaps it is something else that gives her the stomach upsets...if you are feeding
commercial kibble and tripe or something
like that, it may just be an upset caused by the different rates of digestion between
those things...or maybe you should try
feeding just kibble, with an occasional meal of whatever the stuff is you put on top.
OR, try the old trick...make the bowl bigger, but not the portion, and put a big
rock in the bowl so the dog has to eat
slower. It may not make her chew (which I repeat, is not necessary) but it may slow
her down.
And I wouldn't do any scope looking for IBS, either......sounds nuts to me!
