Hello- Has anyone had experience with the new Proheart injection now available for heartworm protection?? The vet insists that the dosage poses no threat to the dogs, but my comfort level is to give as minimal amount of any meds as necessary at any one time. I'd appreciate any information, as I have 2 mos left of his monthly Interceptor, and as Nikki has no problem taking pills (he thinks it's a treat!!) I don't see any reason to change.
