Dear Julie, I agree with you - it can be very difficult for a newbie to find their first Cavalier. One thing I recommend is everytime someone calls, at least let them know where the next Fun Day or Show near them is being held and encourage them to come and join in, watch, meet breeders and other Cavalier folks and see the dogs.
