I don't have much experience
with terriers.  I do know they can be fiesty and tenacious.

I think it depends on the terrier's personality. Each case can be different.
We have Norfolk terriers and they are sweet and wonderful and our Cavalier
puppy jumps all over them and pulls their ears and there are no problems what
so ever. You may want to put them together--supervised of course-- and see
how they react. But like anything you really can't generalize with dog
temperaments. There is a well-known Norfolk and Cavalier breeder in England
most of you are acquainted with--Bryan Claydon who has Brymarden. He might be
a good source.
