Okay, now I am curious. I have read over and over that doing a fresh chilled semen breeding is very expensive. Why is that (or *is* it?) more expensive than a natural breeding? Suppose I find a good boy across the country. I'm going to do a natural breeding. First there is the stud dog's fee, then round-trip airfare to get to him. Is that less expensive than the collected specimen method?
