Hi. I've been viewing the many interesting threads on this list for the last little while and really had no intention of posting right now but I simply have to ask....what on earth does this statement mean? Great Britain consists of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Sorry, but this old Welsh girl just has to ask. As I have now taking the "posting" path I should introduce myself as a new list member. My name is Chris Gingell and I've owned Cavaliers for 27 years and have bred for approx 24 years under the prefix Caruaidd. For those of you who may remember Amantra Naval Salute, winner of the Silver Jubilee in Kentucky many moons ago, I had the privilage of being owned by Skipper. As well, some may remember Muffity Fi-Fi who also had some measure of success. Fi-Fi also still runs this house at the age of 11 years along with her half brother Muffity Harry My Boy who is only a few months younger (still springing over his six foot fence from a standstill..sigh). Both still take their duties of keeping the youngsters in tow pretty seriously. Harry is still being used in my breeding program and has not slowed down in that area an iota. He has recently developed a heart murmur and his hearing has somewhat diminished lately. His eyes are still good and I have just had his hips xrays for certification. My vet feels they will come back excellent as there is absolutely no wear (They had been checked previously but I do not normally send my test results in for certification). Fi-Fi still has a good heart, eyes and hearing. Not bad for old folks hey. My apologise for such a long post. Just get carried away when it comes to chatting about the family.
