Dear Santa, Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. You see, I am a little concerned. This will be my second Christmas, and I seem to remember hearing that you check to see if everyone has been good before delivering toys and treats, and if you look at our house, it doesn't LOOK like good dogs live here!
I, Cody, have been VERY GOOD. However, there are two little boys who have been getting into a LOT of mischief. (One is my son, but the other, from some dog named "Jim" is the bad influence!) I am trying to bring them both up right, but they continue to get into the ribbons and wrapping paper when Mom isn't looking. What a mess tissue paper makes! They take paper off of the rolls it comes on just to get to the cardboard underneath!!! The other night they got into glitter that was meant for cards. Needless to say, we haven't decorated much this year, and there is a rumor that only white wine will be served at Christmas dinner since exuberant tails and red wine don't mix. My house mate, Miss Becky is no help. When the boys are bad, she simply retreats to a love seat and ignores the bedlam. So, just to clarify; I am the good one, the boys are bad, and Becky is no help at all. Oh....those rumors that you hear about me not being able to stay in a crate or a pen...simply that...rumors.
