Suze, the fact that the dog is a champion doesn't increase the value of his stud fee 
(to me)...my comment was that $800 or $1000 was high for a dog who hadn't produced 
Champions, or at least winners.
   To go further down that road, I don't care if the dog I want to use is titled or 
not...if he has the lines I want and has produced dogs I like, particularly with my 
own lines.  An unproven dog should not have
the same stud fee as a dog who has produced dogs that can win....
     And when I say win, I mean preferably with various people showing the dogs, not 
the famous (in any venue you wish) handler, be it pro or owner.
