True, Claudia, not in this part of the world, but in South Dakota you can practically buy a home for that price in some places.
My only point was that it was an off-the-wall amount of money to spend on a stud fee. More importantly, it kept me from using the dog. So, if you have a wonderful typey, dog out there who is tested clear....do you want to price it out of the market or see it used? If I had all the money in the world, I might make a decision to use such a dog; but owners who were really good breeders and not in the list of Fortune 400 would not use him. THAT is not good for the breed.
