Sharon, Thanks for the congrats. I don't think it takes courage, but rather "only fools rush in . . Cavalier showing seems much more relaxed and informal than Boxers. And the handlers are much nicer, even helpful. Judges are patient with novices - and I'm a total novice in this ring. I'm much more comfortable showing a boxer, which is far more difficult to show. It just takes practice. If you can find a handling class, then take your dog or any dog to get the experience. It's like driving a car - you've got to learn how to do many things a once. After a while, you don't think about it. Good luck to you.
