Hi all,

Just joined the list and thought I'd introduce myself and my cavalier
"Sammy". Sammy is my first cavalier. He's a tri and is almost 2yrs old. I
co-own him with Chuck Minter. I'm so greatful to Chuck for entrusting me
with this fabulous little boy. He is the most fun dog I've ever had. We
just started trialing in agility, only two weekends out and already he has
picked up a novice standard leg (3rd place)and a novice jumpers leg (1st
place). Sammy has also placed in the few conformation shows that I handled
him in. Looking forward to doing obed. and pet therapy with him as well.
Sounds like a lot, but we'll pace ourselves. I've been in goldens for 15
years actively showing in obed. and agility, not much luck with the
conformation ring but still trying. I must say that I have been fancying the
cavaliers for about 10 years before I finally decided to go for it as I too
was afraid about the hearts. Then I finally said to myself, well even if I
only have them for a short time it's better than never ever having them at
all. So here I am on the list hoping to learn a lot about this wonderful
breed that I wish I hadn't waited so long to get.
