Hi, Sharon,
        If I lived in Texas I would seek and find Kerrin Winter and Dale
Churchill (Winter-Churchill) photography.  They have written a super
book about photographing dogs (they did a great month on DogRead) which
can be found in both formats at: http://www.dogphoto.com/howto.html for
those who want to learn to do it themselves.  I think you can get their
email at that site as well.  (Read their bio at that site).
        Kerrin does a column now for the AKC gazette, and both she and Dale
have done a huge amount of animal photography and are quite well known.
I hope that they come east some time in the future!  I would surely save
the money to have them do a photo shoot of my dogs..........
