To put in my two cents........I've had AI's done on occasion for my bitchs,
both chin and cavalier.  They all conceived and produced nice size litters
appropriate for each particular bitch.  All AI's were done by the respective
breeders or myself......to date, I have not used a vet for this procedure.
I have a cavalier in whelp right now that was AI'd, due in January.
