You are definitely not alone.  Most of the people who talk to us about using
our boys are the same.  Most of them don't like the idea of their bitch
going on a brief run of Baytril either.  However, I always ask the same
question of all of them.  "How many of you have had a stud dog pull up
sterile on you after siring litters?  No known disease or injury, no signs
of illness, simply no known reason?"  The few people that I know who have
had a stud dog become sterile are more than happy to comply with our request
for Baytril or AIs.  They are in fact, requiring the same for their boys.
The ones who have never lost a much loved boy from their breeding program
due to sterility still prefer the old fashioned way.  It just depends on
where you are and where you have been. Myra Savant
