Although I have a lot of opinions, in real life, I know next to nothing, and often depend on other breeders for guidance and direction. I have a question for those of you who would be kind enough to give me an opinion. We have a heavily marked blenheim boy....a blanket with white legs and a nice white collar. He has a lovely pedigree, particularly where MVD is concerned with some long lived dogs up close. He is, at present, too young for breeding at only one year of age. Here is my concern. He is long, large and appears to be still growing. However.....he has a stunning head with gorgeous dark eyes and the most lovely expression. His head is well marked with a broad back skull and lots of padding. His eyes are huge and very nicely double pigmented. I am aware that cavaliers are often thought to be a head breed and for sure his head is simple beautiful. I am getting a little bit nervous about his size and am wondering if we should still consider using him for breeding? He has a wonderful temperament and is a double grandson of a dog that we don't see much of here in the US. Myra Savant
