Myra At 12 months old I doubt that he has much more growing to do and quite a few dogs at his age look big but by they time they have "dropped" into themselves no longer look over the top as far as size is concerned. Any idea what weight he is? That is sometimes a better guideline. Also what size were his parents and any of his siblings? I wouldn't discount him anyway just yet, put to bitch within the breed size and weight (not a little weed!) the likelihood is that some of the litter will be a more "correct" size My old boy here I always felt was up to size but overall he very rarely reproduced his own size.in any of the litters he sired. Just my opinion for what it is worth
