Michael, Never ever use Hydrogen Peroxide of any sort on tear stains! The improvement you see is shortterm and the H2O2 will make the hair more porous and then the staining gets much worse. The hair will then have to be replaced by new growth. Be sure you do not have a yeast infection-very common and no matter what you try, the stains will remain or get worse till this is solved. I have had the best luck with wiping the stains with water every day, and using a dry tissue once or twice a day.
