Hello, everyone;
Thanks so much to everyone for their great suggestions and support
with this housebreaking issue with the puppy - I really appreciate that
you took the time to write, and with some super ideas.
My emotional stress level is rather high right now: my grandmother is
slipping away from us more quickly now, and it's painful to watch her
like this - this isn't the vibrant, laughing, nurturing woman I've known all
my short life! It's especially awful to see how wrenching it is for Grandpa
to be losing his wife of 71 years. So, I'm at the care facility a lot these
days, and I come home emotionally exhausted. I took my 14 year old
daughter with me tonight; I know it's hard on the young to see this, but
it IS part of life, and I think it makes the children stronger and more
appreciative of their family under these circumstances. Besides, she
was comforting me, and she gave me strength!
Anyway, so I'm probably not thinking all that straight and when Sheila
contacted me to express frustration and ask for help I'm not sure I was
entirely helpful! You guys and dolls all stepped in to help ME, not just
Sheila and puppy. So thanks on several different levels...
