Hello all!!

Some one was asking about combs if I recall? I have used for the last 10
years a pair of "Spratts" combs as recommended to me by no other than Susan
Burgess! I have a Spratts No.72 which is a handled comb and also a Spratts
No.76 which has no handle and has very fine teeth indeed. The 76 is often
referred to as a "Spaniel Comb" and is great for de-tangling knots without
needing to resort to the scissors! They are both solid stainless steel so
you can boil them to sterilise them if any of your dogs have a nasty ear
infection etc (hope not!!)

The 76 although having fine teeth is not as fine as a flea comb which I
would never use on my dogs as it tears the coat terribly, the 72 has
slightly broader teeth than the 76 and is great for last minute combing out
etc or for loosening knots before using the 76.

I think that you would be able to buy these combs on-line from Petcetera, I
shall look for an addy for them or I would be happy to buy some from the
next show I attend in February and post them out to you!!

Best Wishes

Cathryn
