My favorite type of belly bands are the ones Linda Bissell makes. They are
all one piece made of flannel. Padding is inside with a plastic liner
inside the flannel but on the outside of the padding. If the dog pees in it
you do need to wash it though. The ones with the separate pads seem to have
to be washed just as often. A friend of mine wants one so I just inquired
about one today.

For regular beds (very chewable however) I love the new Snoozies--available
at New England Serum and Pet Supplies Plus. They are lamb's wool type with
a bumper all around the edge in a rectangular (not round) shape. They are
fabulous for litters--you throw the whole thing in the washer--and are
nominal in cost.

I did buy a fluffier lamb's wool type bed that a guy guaranteed would not be
chewed and amazingly enough he was right. I got it at a dog show. It's
made of the same fluffy stuff on both sides and has some type of stiffener
in the middle along with padding. It is the only bed I have that hasn't
been chewed. I've had it for a year and a half--so it definitely works. I
have no idea who makes it!
