Cathy & List, >I would like to know how many people use Missing Link > I used to use Missing Link as a supplement to my home prepared diets. However, I changed to Udo's Choice for my boxers, which is the same formula without the yeast. Many dogs have allergy problems with yeast and many dry dog foods already have yeast in them, so adding more may result in problems. Since my guys get their B vitamins thru other sources and I also feed organic cider vinegar and fresh garlic for parasite control, I prefer a supplement without yeast. Only the boxer currently gets this supplement as it contains flax.
By the way, I have read some posts that your Cavaliers can't tolerate flax. I believe that my guy may be one of them. Since flax is in many supplements, it becomes difficult to find a good all purpose vitamin/mineral supplement without flax. How many of you have found your dogs can't tolerate flax, and what are their symptoms? If you use a vitamin/mineral supplement, what is it?
