Yes, this is a common practice in Cavaliers as well although I think that most of the time it is inadvertent. If you do a genetic inheritance statistics (10 generation) of the winning parti cavaliers, most will be highly linebred to one of the following: Ch. Rose Mullion of Ottermouth Ch. Homaranne Caption Salador Crumpet (through several of her champion descendants) Ch. Crisdig Celebration Ch. Crisdig Leading Seaman Ch. Amantra Bohemian Rhapsody Ch. Stellars Eider of Pantisa
There are, of course, many others, but these are the ones that I have noted most often "in mass" in the nether regions of US pedigrees.
